Going to the Sun Chalet was a great location to explore Glacier National Park, only a few minutes from the West entrance.   The views from the front desk were also spectacular.  The chalet was clean, comfortable and well stocked.

Stayed September 21-24. The location was perfect. The view was impeccable and perfect. Was able to hike Iceberg cracker lake, avalanche lake and we drove to flat head and hiked swan river. The house was perfect. The host Linsey was always available but we truly did not need anything. Beds were comfy. We will definitely return when able. Got more hiking goals to do! Even at 55 I was able to push through! Thanks for a trip of a lifetime.

Had a wonderful stay here in September. The place is absolutely gorgeous. It has beautiful views of the mountains from the living room and the bedroom. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very thoughtfully furnished. There was a folder with guidance about everything in the unit. It also had information about trails, eating places, activities etc. Loved the small library with books and park maps and guide books. It's located very close to the West entrance of GNP. The host was friendly & responsive and provided clear instructions as well as guidance about the park and the neighborhood well in advance of our check-in date, which was very useful in planning our trip. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to GNP !!

This property was the perfect place to stay for our 4 days at Glacier National Park. It only took a few minutes to get to the entrance of Glacier, and the views from the Chalet were beautiful. The Chalet was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. It was especially nice being able to do laundry.  Our host did a great job of communicating and sent a lot of information about things to do in the area.  We’ll definitely stay here if we visit Glacier again.

Great location with easy dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner within 5 minutes (we enjoyed a few meals, including breakfast at the Glacier Highland and had pizza from Last Best Pizza right across Hwy 2 from our chalet. It was very easy to and from the park from this location (West Glacier). There is one spacious bathroom on main floor with one bedroom.  The basement has two bedrooms and the laundry with a nice family room and tv.  We were two couples but this seems like it would be a good location for a family with kids of enough to sleep on one level with parents maybe on another level.  Great communication, trip ideas, and easy check-in and checkout.

We stayed in chalet A and it was amazing. Especially the location near to the park entrance is very convinient. The kitchen is well equipped and all the things we needed for a small family. The instructions were very detailed and the host Lindsey is proactive in communicating. The cabin is in a very peaceful but accessible location and the views were too good. We really enjoyed our stay here! The owner was very responsive to us. (More about that below.) The view was great -- the windows allowed for a wonderful view of the mountains. There was a beautiful flower arrangement on the deck. The grill was like-new. We had seven people (including two kids), which is one more than recommended, but it worked. Note that there is only one bathroom, which amazingly was fine. There's a master bedroom of sorts on the upper/main level, which has some shelving and two nightstands. On the lower level, the second bedroom (Q bed I think) is tiny, just a little bigger than the bed with one real nightstand and one tiny one (plus a deep window sill that I used for my clothes), and the the third bedroom is twin bunks. The lower level has a pretty large common area with a TV, where we kept most of our stuff. There is also a loft open to the upper level where one of the adults slept. She reports that the bed was pretty uncomfortable, and the Q bed on the lower level had a not-great mattress-- I sometimes slept on the lower level couch and it was actually very comfortable!We spent most of our time on the upper level, which had a nice big dining table open to the kitchen. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed in typical rental house, mismatched character! When the blender didn't work, we texted the owner and she brought a new one about 10 minutes later! We were very impressed.

Great stay. Clean and fresh, comfortable. If you need cushy furniture, there isn’t much room and the beds in the basement are a tight fit, but it worked for our group. About a5 minute drive to the park gate.

The chalet was just as described and very clean. We used it as a home base for activities on the last half of our trip and the location was perfect for what we needed. We appreciated having a kitchen with cooking utensils and also loved having the deck to sit outside.

Beautiful surroundings, great location, responsive host, comfortable cabin. So easy to get into the national park from here. Full kitchen, full laundry room. And a subtle winning touch was the blackout blinds 👌🏼. Close enough to the highway to be easily accessible, far enough from the road to be quiet.

Beautiful place and area. A little dated, but well taken care of for the most part. Carpets are a bit dingy and dirty feeling under foot. Cleanliness I would give an 8/10. One of the rooms sheets appeared to be dirty so after Lindsey said there is another set in the closet, I did attempt to grab them down to change them, but the wrinkled appearance made me question the cleanliness of them as well. There also was a sock that came down with them, so opted to throw them back up in the closet. Wasn’t super happy about that, but know things happen with laundry. My only true complaint is the amount of fragrance in the place. From the second you open the door it hits you. Towels, sheets and all. It’s TERRIBLE to the point my pj’s wreaked of it the next night elsewhere. So if you’re sensitive to scents, this is not the place for you.

Well, I am bummed out to hear that and not something that has been mentioned in other reviews. When you reached out about the sheets, I assured you that they were clean because I started the laundry that morning for the cleaning crew. The sheets do get wrinkled because there tends to be large loads, but they are definitely clean. On rare occasions, a sock or item gets stuck in the fitted sheet. I'm sorry about the scent of the laundry and will look into what detergent is in there. Thank you for the 5 stars though.

Great location just outside of Glacier Natl Park.  Close as you can get in Montana to the many things to do in the park and nearby.  Clean rooms, clean kitchen, very helpful host.  Plenty of room for our group of 6. Mostly cooked out meals, but Pizza across the street was great for the night we did not feel like cooking. nice safe parking for 2 cars+

Best place to stay before you head into West Glacier… a mile from the front gate, beautiful, easy access and very well maintained property. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

Both places were very clean, very comfortable and there were supplies in both kitchens to make full course meals for our group of 10. This chalet was peaceful, cozy, and had everything I needed for an amazing stay in the Flathead Valley.She was incredibly responsive and helpful—no matter what questions I had, Lindsey was quick to reply and made sure I had the best experience possible in West Glacier.The chalet, along with the few others nearby, is set well back from the main road, so I never heard any traffic.
